From material to territory
My understanding of architecture comes from direct contact with construction. Before drawing on paper, I learned to build, adjust and transform with my hands; to understand the weight of materials, the time required by each process and the precision every junction demands. That learning, rooted in craftsmanship, remains central to how I think and build today.
Certain personal circumstances led me to pause and reorient my path. That pause became an opportunity to turn a hands-on experience into a new way of seeing. While studying Architecture at the School of Architecture in Reus, I found the tools to expand that knowledge of construction towards territory, landscape and design.
Today, my work arises from the meeting of these two perspectives: that of the architect who designs and that of someone who understands how architecture takes shape. It is a way of working attentive to materials, construction detail, climate and landscape, in search of calm, honest solutions deeply rooted in each place.
